Serafino McLaren Vale

1. IMPORTANT

1.1. Please read these Terms and Conditions of Stay carefully.
1.2. All bookings made via Participating Websites or with Serafino McLaren Vale directly are made subject to these Terms and Conditions and the person signing these conditions (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these terms and conditions apply and are on behalf of any persons (“the Invitee”) staying or visiting the guest room or complex and/or using the facilities of the complex at the invitation or with the authority of the Guest.

2. PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENITIFCATION

2.1. When you check-in the Guest must provide a Federal or State Government issued photographic ID.
2.2. If you are unable to provide such identification as stipulated in paragraph 2.1, we may cancel your booking and you may be liable to pay Serafino McLaren Vale an amount equal to the booking amount plus any costs Serafino McLaren Vale incurs incidental to your cancelled booking.

3. PAYMENT

3.1. Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Electronic Funds Transfer, Cash or Gift Voucher.
3.2. A 1.8 percentage (%) surcharge will apply to payments made by American Express.
3.3. A pre-authorisation to the value of $100.00 must be received upon check-in (“the pre-authorisation payment”) with either a Visa or MasterCard (American Express not accepted). The pre-authorisation payment is a security bond to cover any incidental items that may arise during your stay, including but not limited to telephone calls, mini bar usage, additional bedding, late checkout surcharge, damages, additional cleaning charges, noise complaints, call out fees, lost key. The pre-authorised payment will be held from your account and will be automatically released by your bank if there has been no incidental costs arisen during your stay. We note, release times may vary depending on the terms and conditions of the issuing financial institution (times can vary from 5 to 28 business days). Please check with your issuer. Should a credit card not be available at the time of check-in, a $250.00 cash bond will be required.
3.4. Full payment of non– refundable rate is required 72 hours prior to arrival for all bookings. Credit card details need to be provided at time of booking to secure your reservations.
3.5. For Group bookings of 6 or more rooms, our Group Terms and Conditions apply and a deposit of $100.00 per room is required.

4. CANCELLATION

4.1. Special rates are non-refundable and cannot be modified after the booking has been made.
4.2. For all other general reservations the free cancellation period ends 72 hours prior to arrival, otherwise the full rate according to the length of the Guest’s stay will be charged.
4.3. A notice period of at least 72 hours prior to arrival is required for booking modifications resulting in a reduced rate. Where this notice is not provided, the full rate according to the original reservation will be charged.
4.4. For bookings of 6 or more rooms, our Group Terms and Conditions apply.

5. DAMAGES & CHARGES

5.1. Serafino McLaren Vale has a NON SMOKING policy in all of the complex’s buildings or facilities. A smoking area is located under the verandah at the Hotel entrance. Evidence of smoking by the Guest or the Invitee will result in a $250.00 room recovery fee.
5.2. Guests are responsible for damages and excess cleaning charges beyond the normal level of cleaning required.
5.3. A loss of a room key by the Guest or the Invitee will incur a fee of $200.00.
5.4. Guests that require the assistance of a Duty Manager after our business hours will be charged a call out fee of $150.00.

6. BEHAVIOUR

6.1. For the comfort and convenience of all Guests, this hotel has ‘Quiet Time’ between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am. We ask our Guests to be respectful of the neighbours and Guest congregations in front of the accommodation buildings are not permitted at all times as the noise level will disturb others.
6.2. There is a strict NO PARTY POLICY. Authorities will be called, and occupants will be evicted from the Hotel. Criminal charges could be applied. All money, deposits and room charges will be forfeited upon eviction.
6.3. Any noise complaints that result in compensation due to your disturbance will be on–charged to you accordingly
6.4. If at any time of your stay a Duty Manager is required to attend, the Guest responsible will be charged a $150.00 call out fee plus any associated costs.
6.5. No pets or animals are permitted during your stay.
6.6. Any reasonable direction of the Manager on duty must be complied with by Guests and Invitees.
6.7. A breach of the complex’s rules will result in eviction of the offender. This decision is at the discretion of the Manager on duty.

7. LOSS OF GOODS

7.1. Serafino McLaren Vale shall not be liable to any Guest or Invitees’ loss or damage or destruction to any property brought upon the complex.
7.2. Personal property shall include but is not limited to the following: money, jewellery, and other personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises.
7.3. Serafino McLaren Vale will hold Lost Property found for a period of one month (1) after which will be donated to a nominated charity.

8. STANDARD CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES

8.1. The standard check in time on the date of arrival is 2:00pm Australian Central Time.
8.2. The standard check out time is 10:00am on the date of departure.
8.3. If you wish to check out later than the standard check out time, you must obtain approval from the Reservations Manager at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled check out time and you agree that departure after the standard check out time may incur additional charges.

9. CAR PARKING

9.1. Guests are only permitted to park in Serafino McLaren Vale sign posted car park bays
9.2. Where a Guest or Invitee’s vehicle is parked on the premises, vehicle registration must be supplied to the Manager on duty.
9.3. Failure to supply the above named details and/or parking illegally may result in the vehicle being towed at the expense of the owner.
9.4. Serafino McLaren Vale accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles parked in the complex.

10. ACCEPTANCE

10.1. By signing these Terms and Conditions of Stay, I agree that I am personally liable for the payment of the account and agree that any additional charges for services not billed to the time of departure may be added to my account for settlement.
10.2. My signature hereunder indicates that I have noted and accepted the above Terms and Conditions of Stay.
