The Statesman Hotel has adopted the following policies, terms & conditions to assist us in providing you with our best service. We respectfully request that you adhere to these before, during & after your stay.
CASH PAYING GUEST POLICY
The Statesman Hotel is a fully digital hotel and does not accept cash payment at the property. All bookings must be fully paid in advance of your stay. A pre-authorisation is levied to all guests and released upon check-out, in accordance with your own bank’s release policy. The hotel does not hold your pre-authorisation charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Best Flexible Rate reservations may be cancelled or amended up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date without charge, thereafter they are subject to full stay cancellation. All other reservations rates are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be charged at the time of booking. Non-refundable bookings are subject to charge for date change and cancelation. Any bookings made via a 3rd Party are subject to the cancellation policy of the 3rd Party and rate choice policy.
SMOKING POLICY
We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms & smoking within enclosed public areas is against the law in the ACT. There are plenty of outdoor areas around the property where smoking is permitted, we just ask of you to dispose of your butts thoughtfully. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged if smoking occurs within a guest room.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in time is from 2pm Check-out time is 10am.
Early check-in or late check-out requests will be catered for depending on availability. A fee may apply for such requests.
